| Brethren In
Unity - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for
brethren to dwell together in unity!’, Psalms 133 tells us; this
commands a blessing for those brethren that meet together in unity.
Men throughout the entire New Testament, the men of the early Church met
together, were taught together and worshiped the Lord together... |

| By Faith or By Law - Did you receive the Spirit by the
works of the Law or by the hearing of Faith?
I write to those who call themselves
Christians; may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ rest upon you. If we
say that we believe in Christ, and have been saved, one would ask, "What
assurance do you have of your salvation?" The simple and correct answer
is, "Through Christ." Do we really believe that Christ is our savior? |

| The Holy
Spirit -
The Baptism of the
Holy Spirit: We received a letter from
one of our readers about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and thought it
well to address this subject. He wasn’t really asking questions as to
how to receive the Spirit, or the baptism, etc. but, that he was
confused by mixed feelings about what had happened to him so far, and of
course, the mixed doctrines he had been encountering... |

| The
Resurrection - When you read
something about "the resurrection," it usually tries to convince
you that Christ raised from the dead, and then that’s it. Once
you believe that, then you’re O.K. Well, there’s more to belief
in the resurrection than that... |

| Effective Ministry - In modern Christendom there
are two ministries for every parishioner; there are pastoral/elder
ministries, feed-the-hungry-ministries, collect-the-tithe ministries,
door-greeter ministries, etc... and there are street-preaching
ministries. Though there are copious ministries, in order to be
legitimately in the service of Christ they must they share one paradigm:
they must be based upon Love. |

| The Creativity
of Man - Man was created to
create. When he is not creating, he is destroying. He who is slothful in
his work is brother to him who destroys, says the Proverb. So when we
are not on the creative side of things, we sense a terrible despondency,
a feeling of worthlessness and impending punishment. Man tries to gloss
over this with his psychological tools (something he created)... |
| |
| End Times - We may think to ourselves
that Paul was not into end-times stuff as much as John or Peter or
Daniel. By thinking this, we cut ourselves loose
from the plain teaching of the New Testament that there is a judgment
after death, and that’s the final wrap. In his usual clever methods of
deception, Satan uses the holy scriptures as a smoke screen for his real
intents... |

| Do You Love
Me? -"15. So when they had
broken their fast, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John,
lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto
him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed
my lambs.
16. He saith to him again a
second time, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea,
Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Tend my sheep... |

| Knowing God's
Will - If you
came across a book titled "How to Know God’s Will for Your Life" in
your local Christian book store, you would probably pick it up and
at least read the table of contents. How often we have wondered what
God
has called us to do! We feel unused, or out of the will of God, or
just plain bored. We think if we only knew, then we would get on
with our heavenly calling... |
| |
| Fear or Faith? - People use words like "faith" to manipulate
people. Usually, the object is to get money, but many preachers of
"faith" just want control over others. We know from experience that
people use fear to manipulate people. In this culture, we would never
call this manipulation by fear by its real name, but we call it "faith"
or even "love"... |

| Morality &
Legality - To state moralities or “beliefs” have no place with legality and
legislating laws is equal to stating that the
legislator’s moralities and beliefs had no play in their legislating
laws. This is impossible. In reality, their beliefs are being
legislated. It would be desirable therefore to have people in the
position to legislate that have right or moral beliefs. Notwithstanding,
even legislators are not in control, God is... |
| |
| Man's love VS
God's Love - First, we must recognize the
holiness of God for what it is. God is pure and holy. These two terms, pure and holy, are One. They cannot be separated from one another. God
is separate from His creation because He alone is Pure. All pureness
comes from Him. We have an idea of purity throughout the natural world... |

| My Lawyer's
Neighbor -
The definition of any lawyer is one who studies and
understands the law, thus becoming an expert in the law. In Jesus’ day
there were the same type of men, called scribes, those who studied God’s
law. In a particular and rather popular parable, Jesus was
tested by such a lawyer: "25. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted
him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26. He said unto him, What is written in the law? how
readest thou? 27. And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. 28. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this
do, and thou shalt live. 29. But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto
Jesus, And who is my neighbor? " (Luke 10)... |
