Gospel Basics

The basis of the Gospel is that we are sinners, and must be redeemed from our sins in order to be saved from Hell, or to spend Eternity in the Kingdom of God. Jesus is The Redeemer.

If you say you are without sin, then you are a liar, condemning yourself by your own lie.

Your sin has separated you from the Holy and righteous God whom demands a perfect, blameless offering; we do not qualify as this offering, having been born with sin through Adam and have committed sin throughout our entire lives. We stand condemned in our sins already.

Jesus alone is the perfect offering; He was without sin and yet went to the cross and took our sins upon Himself, so that we might have Eternal Life. BUT, if you reject Jesus Christ as Lord then you will stand before God on your own righteousness and your own works, and be condemned to eternal death. 

The choice is before you: continue to be enslaved to your sin, or, choose to be set free by calling upon the name of Jesus, repenting of your sin, turning from your wickedness and believing upon Him.

The Bible says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, who whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16, 17 & 18)

The Bible says, "The wages of sin is death". Sin separates us from God, making an immeasurable gap. (Isaiah 59:2)

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4: 12)

The fact is that Jesus is the only Truth and the only Life; there is no other name for man to call upon, in order to be saved from sin and the wrath of God, than the name of Jesus Christ. All other religions, creeds, beliefs or denominations which claim salvation, or truth, or gods, or the forgiveness of sin,  other than Jesus Christ, are false and to be accursed.

"As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:9)

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

"Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:3-9)
