| Are You Saved?
The question, “Are you saved,” is unlearned.
If you ask a person who considers himself or herself saved no matter
what, they will tell you that that are indeed saved. So, what was the
point of asking them? They remain ignorant of any danger and so do you.
“Are you saved?” is a rude question because
by answering it, only disputes come. It assumes that the person you are
asking can give you a meaningful answer. Let’s say the person doesn’t
buy into the concept of being saved. The person whom you ask, “Are you
saved", will be offended, but for the wrong reasons. They are offended
not because they have been convicted of sin, but because they have been
asked a question about a subject they know nothing about, makes them
respond defensively (they judge themselves to be A-OK, which they
aren’t) and makes you the judge of their unlearned response.
Go back to the person who thinks they are
saved and answers in the affirmative. Easy-does-it Christianity says
that a person is saved because they said the sinner’s prayer. This is
not found in the scriptures. However, we read that we saved not because
of anything we have done, but because of the grace of God. So we can
come forward, get baptized, say the sinner’s prayer and the rosary a
thousand times, and we will not be saved if we make that the basis of
our salvation. Oh, sure, we’ll attach the name Jesus to our works
system, but instead of coming to Him, we are satisfied in our works. And
more dangerously, we spread the good news of our works system, whatever
form it takes.
For instance, one of our works systems may
be “witnessing” to others. We go around asking them if they are saved.
When they respond in the positive, we pretend great joy and pat them on
the back, knowing nothing about their belief system. When they respond
in the negative, we tell them the three easy steps to heaven, just like
we were told to do, and when they respond positively to that, we tell
others how that the Lord saved them. Otherwise, we smile and tell them
God loves them anyways. Lukewarm Christianity.
Even those who preach the good news of the
kingdom correctly are not saved thereby. If they obey not the words of
Jesus Christ, even though they preach them, they are worse off than if
they had never known the correct path. Our works will be judged on that
day when God brings every work into judgment. Our works will judge our
belief system. Many will say to the Lord on that day “but didn’t we do
many wonderful works in your name?” (They cannot stop patting themselves
on the back), and He will say to them, “Depart from me, you workers of
iniquity.” Their works systems will be considered as works of the devil
himself. He will also tell them, “I never knew you.”
Does Jesus know you? Do you really know
Jesus?
“And we know that the Son of God has come
and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and
we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God
and eternal life.
“Little children, keep yourselves from
idols. Amen.” Read sister article

Bible Study VS
Entertainment
Bible study is important, at least as
important as a TV commercial.
Have you ever watched a movie? It usually
lasts about 2 hours. You don’t get up and turn it off every 15 minutes,
do you? Even if you leave the room or the theatre, you come back as soon
as possible to get back into the story. You don’t go off for a week at a
time and then start the movie back where you left off, do you? If you
did, you would probably lose track of the plot and would not "get it."
But this is the way most people study their Bibles, and they really
don’t do anything but sit there in the sanctuary listening to Greek
meanings and anecdotes while the pastor assures them he is teaching them
the Bible. The main reason you don’t study the Bible is because you like
being entertained.
Reading the Bible is not very entertaining,
in the sense just spoken. However, if we neglect it by not applying
ourselves to study it, we are going to lose track of the plot. It’s
about eternal life, and very few "get it." How do we expect to receive
anything from God if we don’t care about it ourselves? It’s hard to
sacrifice those 2 hours we could be watching a movie for Bible study and
prayer. That’s why we are so calloused in our love. It is cold. Our
faith, dependent upon hearing the word of Christ, is moldy or just a
memory.
For this reason we must pay much closer
attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.
For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every
transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, how will we
escape if we neglect so great a salvation? Hebrews 2:1-3.

I
Believe in the Easter Bunny
If you were to ask me, ‘Do you believe in
the Easter Bunny?", my answer would be a decisive "YES." Before I tell
you about my belief in the Easter Bunny, let’s take a look at the Easter
Bunny facade.
Easter
is a historically unique time, filled with spring flowers, warm,
perfumed air, flitting butterflies and festive celebrations. Little
girls in white hats, white gloves and pretty pink dresses go around with
baskets, hunting for brightly colored eggs, candies, chocolates and
those little, stale Peeps, from last year, while little boys vested in
bow ties and white shirts run around in a mad frenzy with egg and
chocolate on their faces looking for any missed eggs.
But, all this outward scene does not really
personify the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny, Esq. begins his crusade
sometime in early March, sending out his message through mailers,
newspapers, radio ads and television commercials. This is all in
preparation for the Easter Bunnies to lay down the promise of golden
eggs to entice the chocolate starved. It is the time when the Easter
Bunny has the power to unite said starved and grow the cause of sugar
worldwide. The Easter Bunny’s campaign is relentless and almost
religious in it’s effort.
The Easter Bunny’s downfall, however, is
that he hates proper nutrition; the real meaning behind Easter is that
there is a campaign to drown out and overthrow the few fresh fruit and
vegetable stands. The Easter Bunny’s portfolio is up to the ears in
sugarcane and cocoa futures; naturally he feels very threatened by any
other food source becoming popular. But, stemming from ancient and
constant criticism of said diet, the Bunny was forced to bring in the
egg as his symbol, for nutrition’s sake but also to disguise the cotton
candy heart.
Not one to be oppressed by this nutritional
baggage, the Easter Bunny had a very creative idea; he made a type of
thick sugar-water, in a kaleidoscope of eye-pleasing colors, to coat the
eggs. Therefore, the Easter Bunny was able to portray Easter as a
healthy time, but also a time of color, life and the all-important human achievement of happiness.
Is there an Easter Bunny?
Well, if I have not convinced you already,
then allow me to brush away the cotton candy. To me the Easter Bunny is
a perfect symbol of religion without Christ, kind of like a mailer I
received the other day from Bayside Church. It was an aesthetically
pleasing, extravagant, creative and colorful piece of mail; it promised
a huge egg hunt for my kids, a large map to their church and also talked
about an upcoming seminar on ‘the five keys to a happy marriage’.
However, nowhere on the mailer did it mention proper nutrition; slight
promises of happiness and well being were abundant but Christ and His
word was conspicuously absent. And, just as foolish as the idea of a
bunny laying eggs, it promised a hope it could not deliver, for there is
no hope without Christ. Just as the Easter Bunny and his stale Peeps
lead to a bad diet, life without Christ and His word leads to
destruction.
Now, Bayside Church is not the only
fellowship doing this; there seems to be lot of bunnies hopping around.
They all promise the same thing, health, happiness and nutrition, but
they lack the substance of the Word of God which is the nutrition for
holy living.
Every Easter opportunity knocks; in an
attempt to be Number One Bunny, to gather as many stale parishioners
into their paws as possible, the cuddly, little rabbits entice all they
meet with aggressive advertising campaigns. Like Las Vegas casinos,
thinking bigger is better, the bunnies build bigger and bigger worship
centers to house their operations, throwing in more tantalizing
celebrations; with the furry worship services and candy-coated messages, many are ensnared. Like
leaders in a banana republic, the bunnies each attempt to cut each other
off in order to get to the top, but, the one thing they do agree on is
the Easter Bunny, which is false religion; because they hate Christ and
his Word, when the bunnies do unite, they love to drink the blood of the
saints, figuratively speaking. Thus, the story of the Easter Bunny is
true; it truly is the embodiment of the father of lies.
Then, there is The Church, that looks at
Easter and the time of Passover as the time of Christ’s death and
resurrection, of his sacrifice for us, and finds joy in the forgiveness
of sins and protection in Christ. Christ, being the chief shepherd,
warns his Church against the lies of false religion. Christ and His
words bring nutrition and health to believer’s life. Through Christ’s
blood upon the cross we have access to the Father, by faith, and that
not of ourselves, being the gift of God. Christ, who was the spotless
lamb (and in this had no rivals), bore on himself the full penalty for
our sins. We, as believers look forward to eternity with God; unlike the
wicked and false religions that build their vast kingdoms here on Earth,
we know our reward is in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus gathers His Church, the elect, as a
hen gathers it’s chicks under it’s wings, unlike the Easter Bunny who
cannot have chicks and attempts to legitimize it’s falsehoods by
establishing a brood of hard-boiled eggs, portraying them as symbols of
life. And, as on-going traditional lie tells us, the person with the
most eggs wins.

The Marriage Covenant VS Divorce
Marriage is a covenant instituted by God, exclusively between a man and a woman. “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” Hebrews 13:4
The covenant of marriage is a typology of the relationship between Christ and His Church, with Him as the husband and the Church his spotless Bride. ‘Break-ups’ of marriage… separations, divorces, annulments, etc. defile God’s covenant. It is bad enough when the world does these things but when supposed Christians partake in such, it is Christendom itself that is accused of hypocrisy.
Divorce for any other reason other than adultery brings destruction upon the family, corruption to the Church, creates evil surmising, propagates damnable lies and incurs a deep well of bitterness which poisons all whom drink from it. The more modern phenomenon is women rebelling against God and their husbands, separating themselves from their husband and God-ordained covering with no just cause, such as severe physical violence. Such rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. Such whom practice it are at enmity with God and should be thus shunned by the Church. As in the case adultery, God allows for divorce but if parties are willing, it is better to seek forgiveness and grace. If an adulterer is unwilling to repent and change, they should be rebuked openly before the Church, thrown out and excommunicated until they repent.
The people whom suffer the most from divorce are the children, whom often become jaded and mentally scarred, as if they’ve been bathed in a figurative pool of acid, continually filled by the parents. All the while, the children are convinced that this type of behavior, lying and deceiving is somehow ‘acceptable’.
As a result many of these families are divided and harboring great pain. In most cases the mother receives legal custody of the children and slowly teaches them how to hate and blame their own father. Sometimes the father abandons his family, leaving the mother with the burden of acting both roles, a thing which often leads to disaster.
The Church, which once stood up and proclaimed it would not tolerate divorces among it’s parishioners , has now become ‘modernized’; under the guise of feminism it has turned to extra-Biblical wisdom to somehow mediate troubled marriages, resulting in the highest rate of divorce among so-called Christians in the history of mankind. According to the Barna Group, so-called ‘born again’ Christians have a higher divorce rate than atheists and agnostics.
However, many of these so-called Christians whom file for separation or divorce other than for adultery, do not feel shameful for their hearts are hardened, like the defiled. They may put on a good show of religion but lack any substance, faith or belief in Christ. Their hearts are full of fornication and adultery.
As Jesus said, (speaking to the Pharisees): "… For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same [matter]. And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery." Mark 10:5-12
Such hardened individuals are spots on your love feasts, clouds without rain, shameful and despicable, seeking their own pleasures and destroying their own house. Such are bad company; association with bad company corrupts good judgment.
“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” Gal. 5:9

"In the long run, our economy is going to be fine"...
No, it isn't. But, who am I to disagree with President Bush? He must know more than I about the future, being President of the United States and surrounded by the best advisors. His advisors must have advised him to say calming words so that the masses would not storm the banks or sell inflated stocks or some horrible thing like that. So he said words that might bring peaceful thoughts to the minds of consumers worldwide, thoughts of sugar-plum fairies and IPods in every pot.
However, the Bible disagrees with Mr. Bush and all his economic experts. In the long run, all the world´s powers are going down. As have all the superpowers before us, we will run out of gas, so to speak. Everything here is temporary. All the wealth here is subject to thieves, natural disaster, and just plain depreciation. One cause of depreciation is deficit spending. Everyone knows this causes money to rot, but we have been rolling around in unfunded credit so long we have learned to love it. Now we have to face the reality of "paying the piper."
This is a very small picture of what is going to happen to us on Judgment Day. We have been given our lives on the understanding that we owe our Creator thanks. Instead, we dishonor him by "robbing from Peter to pay Paul," thinking we are getting away with our greed.
We have been profligates and prodigals on a scale unmatched in history. The noblemen and kings of the past have never luxuriated in so much junk as have we consumers. The doors of corruption have been opened to millions who spent lavishly on their desires. What was withheld from them? They moved about in lightning-quick vessels, perfuming the air with their greenhouse gases. They indulged in sexual immorality, fueled by money and guarded by contraception and drugs. Their governors were given over, even the very ones who gained their posts by "fighting corruption."
The Christian church sat by and said, "We love you, man."
And so judgment began at the house of God and proceeded until the world was once again in economic collapse, just so men would call upon the name of the Lord (see Psalm 107).
In the long run, this earth is going to be destroyed and then replaced by a new heavens and a new earth. That will be fine.

Beware: Open Mind Shaft
Old mine shafts have fences and signs around them to warn against unwary intruders. It would be nice if a label was placed on `intellectuals´ for us to read before engaging with them, warning us of sudden drop-offs. These who feast on gourmet brain food produce art, music, philosophy, mathematics and madness. Madness is assured to those who make knowledge their mistress without deference to the Maker of knowledge, the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is nothing wrong with being intelligent, as long as we define intelligence as knowledge plus godly wisdom. This wisdom gives us the power to restrain our madness, bringing knowledge into a place where it is useful for gaining eternal life. The true knowledge that leads to eternal life can be found only in knowing God the Father through Jesus Christ his Son. Most men in their vast earthly wisdom never come to this knowledge. Instead, they serve their fleshly minds much as a man goes after a loose woman.
This leaves a deadly opening for the devil, who keeps on digging into a man´s soul until there is a huge shaft, sucking the light out of man like one of their brainchildren black holes. We as Christians need to offer them the Light that leads to everlasting life, but we are not to engage in foolish arguments that lead to ungodliness. The enemy of their souls uses the knowledge they have stuffed into their brains to sidetrack them from listening to the gospel. We must patiently explain to them their need for a Savior using Biblical themes, but if they refuse to listen after the second admonition we are to leave them alone in their plunge into darkness. If we try to rescue them by using earthly wisdom and worldly themes, we will fall into their pit and we will become like the modern-day church that hates the pure gospel. However, let us continue to pray for them, that God will intervene, as he did for us, and give them the true knowledge of Jesus Christ. Little children,!
keep yourselves from idols.

Saint
Patrick's Day
Patrick was born in 387 A.D. and is believed to have died on
March 17th, 493 A.D. He
was born near Kilpatrick, Scotland and around 16 years old was
kid-napped and enslaved by Irish slavers and taken to Ireland.
His new master instructed him to tend sheep in the valley of the
Braid and on the isolated slopes of the Slemish.
While so employed, Patrick discovered the fear of the Lord and
the solace of prayer: “and His fear increased in me more and
more, and the faith grew in me, and the spirit was roused, so
that, in a single day, I have said as many as a hundred prayers,
and in the night nearly the same, so that whilst in the woods
and on the mountain, even before the dawn, I was roused to
prayer and felt no hurt from it, whether there was snow or ice
or rain; nor was there any slothfulness in me, such as I see
now, because the Spirit was then fervent within me” (quoted from
Patrick’s “Confessio”)
During his captivity, Patrick acquired an extensive knowledge of
the Irish-Celtic tongue, in which he would one day announce the glad
tidings of Salvation; in addition to
language he became familiar with the local pagan beliefs through
Milchu, his master,
whom was a druidical high priest. After 6 years of being a
slave, Patrick escaped and fled back to Britain; he attended
Martin’s Monastery for many years to learn more of God and His
Word. He felt a tremendous burden to preach the Gospel of Jesus
Christ to the pagan people of Ireland who’d once enslaved him.
Upon landing on the Emerald Isle,
his first act of ministry was to travel to Dalriada,
where he had once been a slave; he paid the full price of his
ransom to his former, pagan master and bestowed to him the blessing of the Gospel of
Jesus Christ.
Thus is the story of Patrick, a man whom had a hunger and thirst
for God and His
word, which led him back to his painful past of slavery to
conquer false gods with the awesome Gospel of Jesus Christ. A
classic illustration of an individual whom did not fear man but
God, and answered the call to repentance.
There is a myth that says Patrick
banished the snakes from Ireland; in reality, the
devilish and pagan doctrines that once enslaved the Irish people
were silenced by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, brought to
Ireland’s shores with boldness, by a man of faith.

Christian Women´s History Month
The month of March has been deemed Women´s History Month. Since the 1970´s, school textbooks have been rewritten to include omitted histories of important women. Before that time, schoolbooks were written by men in order to suppress women´s rights. At least, that´s what feminists will tell you. That´s what modern-day Christian preachers will tell you. Why would they say such things? It is not because it is the truth.
Women have always been included in history. They are very important in history. The feminists are not happy with that, however. What they want is history to be rewritten to show the men as selfish, dominating, uncaring sex maniacs who have bungled world events up until women got hold of things recently. The Christian church has gone along with this meekly, turning the other cheek to the devil.
Women have been stripped of their femininity and men of their masculinity. This is seen as a good thing, especially by homosexuals. So history has to be rewritten for these also. Pretty soon, we will have to toss out all books that historically portrayed homosexuality as deviant behavior. Oops, our libraries and schools have already done this. So we leave it up to the church to follow suit. Oops, they ordain homosexuals. There is an order to this: First women must rule over men, and then they are all given over to perversion. Children are their oppressors. Take for instance a child going to court against his parents and a judge ruling that they and hundreds of thousands of other home-schoolers are criminals. This eliminates any possibility the child may be brought up hating the perversions around him. That way they can be taught the proper history of the world as seen by the feminists.
Christian women, my sisters in Christ, those of you whom are really Christ´s, I admonish you: Come out of Babylon! Flee her gods and goddesses! Do not fear. Men cannot oppress you if you have the love of Christ in you. They may try, but you will win in the end through submissiveness and a quiet spirit. Women who have no faith will go on with their "Christian feminism" into destruction, much like their men who hate the gospel of Jesus Christ but profess to be Christian. That´s what real history tells us.

World Day of Prayer
Among other things, today, Friday March 7, 2008, is the World Day of Prayer. This is not to be confused with the National Day of Prayer whose Chairman (not Chairperson) is Shirley Dobson, nor the Global Day of Prayer, nor...
Anyway, the WDP, as they call it, is a women's movement. It calls for Christian women to affirm their faith in Jesus Christ. How they do this remains a mystery, but it has something to do with women's rights in various nations. It sounds like some sort of social gospel, but it´s really hard to figure out.
It is no wonder that tomorrow, Saturday March 08, is International Women´s Day. These women do not pretend to be Christian. They are proud to have direct links to socialism and the accomplishments of women in various countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and of course, the good ol' USA. Socialists all.
The socialists know that in order to get rid of Christianity they have to get rid of men as rulers. As they say on their site: "The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. Many from a younger generation feel that 'all the battles have been won for women' while many feminists from the 1970's know only too well the longevity and ingrained complexity of patriarchy."
For the Christian, this is not important when we're talking about secular government. He knows that the rulers of this planet are under their direct boss, the devil. The devil is under control of God and God uses all these powers for His glory. He sets them up and He knocks them down.
However, when we are talking about churchy things like praying, world day of prayer, Chairman Shirley and the rest, we know that the church has been infiltrated in equal measure by the same socialists that are destroying the power of men to rule.

Climate Change
"There's been a change of climate" is an old phrase. It means things are going in another direction. Maybe there's a new sheriff in town, a new regime, a chance for a new start. Or maybe it's more sinister, like a bad omen when a dark cloud appears on the horizon.
Lately, the phrase has taken on a literal meaning. "Climate change" now means that the earth is heating up (aka, Global Warming). Global temperature-tempering advocates are hammering away with statistics to prove to the ignorant that the earth is indeed warming up, with a hundred year-old record that shows a 1.7 degree average rise in temperatures worldwide. Until we are all brought into this awareness, the earth will continue to warm up evidently. So we must all concentrate on the problem and think globally at the same time. No mean task for mere humans, but then again, we are the cause of global warming and we can undo it, yessir.
Not too long ago, we were worried about causing a "global winter." This was very real seeing as we had enough nuclear weapons to blow ourselves up several times over, putting a cloud above the earth that would carry radioactive dust and shut out the sun for a few dozen years, or something like that. (What happened to those weapons, children?).
This is the thinking of men who have grasped the creation and harnessed its powers. They can bring water to the desert, making a fertile field that feeds the world. They can make highways that channel millions of vehicles across a continent, spanning rivers over huge bridges, transporting grains and meat and ice cream. They can take temperatures worldwide and create statistics from them. They can make cell phones that have web sites that report those statistics.
My hat is off to the fear-mongers' efforts. They have admitted there is a problem and they are advertising the problem so others can join with them in their paranoia. Many people accuse us of using the same tactics when we speak of the End of the World and Judgment Day. The difference is, our message has been going strong for two thousand years and their's will only last maybe another twenty years and they´ll be going down some other rabbit hole.
There's a change in the climate coming, all right. Things are going to heat up, as they say. Will we be ready when the Lord comes back in flaming fire, taking vengeance upon his enemies? Forget about greenhouse gases and melting polar caps; the earth and its ways are going to burn up in tremendous heat that dissolves the very elements and the wicked who served them. Then there will be a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. I'm looking forward to the change in weather.
